Huntington Beach family portrait photography!
This family will always have a special memory for me. Dan & Diana were living in AZ and had scheduled a trip out to CA. While they were going to be out here (this is back in 2005) they wanted to meet to talk about shooting their wedding. No problem, except that I was going to be due two weeks before they came out. I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal because it was meeting and I wasn’t actually shooting so we said we would plan on it – but play it by ear because of the pregnancy. Well – I was almost 2 weeks late and ended up having my baby a couple days before our meeting. Rather than cancel – I sent Brian home to get all my albums, a laptop to show videos, etc and we met in the hospital! Who does that???? Looking back I think I really am a work-a-holic and the nurses must have thought I was crazy!
Fast forward to today – after shooting their engagement at the flower fields in Carlsbad, their beautiful wedding at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach – they came back to Orange County for a family session. It was so great to see them and their kids are so stinkin’ cute! I really do think we have the BEST job out there!!!
