Walk For Kids ~ Ronald McDonald House Charity Event

This year, our family participated in the Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids! Jennifer’s sister Julieanne was the ambassador family and got to work with the Niedermayer family. She was able to get 200 people to walk for our team! Our group took 1st place for the top community fundraising team. Overall the walk helped to raise over $300,000 for the Ronald McDonald house (Brooklyn’s team raised over $10,000).  This cause was close to our hearts because of the role the house had in Jennifer’s sisters’ life.  She was able to stay there when her baby Brooklyn was born. Since Brooklyn was only with us for a short time,  she was so glad she was able to stay across the street from the hospital to be with her through the surgery and recovery.

Laguna Beach Wedding at Tivoli Terrace ~ Orange County Wedding Photographer

We immediately hit it off with Chad and Kris back in January when we shot their engagement session! To borrow some words  from Chad’s reception speech- “she’s the squirrel and (he’s) the nut!”  They are such a fun couple to be around. If you are with them, you will be laughing (and when not laughing – smiling). This made their wedding day even more fun than their engagement session! The getting ready shots were photographed at the Inn at Laguna. We went for a walk outside to do the first glance (which is our favorite moment) and beach photos followed the first glance.  We then headed to Tivoli Terrace for the wedding and reception. We have probably photographed over 100 weddings here so photographing weddings at this venue is always great. Patrick is amazing and does such a great job with his couples. Allan from APC entertainment was the DJ (another amazing guy we’ve worked with for years) and blew everyone away with his vocals!  We actually thought it was the real song until the reception exploded with applause at the end! Good luck Chad and Kris- you guys are a perfect match and we will remember this day for a long time.:)

San Diego LDS Temple Wedding – Janet + Scott

It was a cold overcast day at the San Diego Temple and we were excited to see Janet & Scott come out of the temple after being sealed. As they exited, their smiles were huge. You could tell they were so happy and we were happy for them. We did photos around the grounds and then headed to the beach for some photos with the cliffs. We LOVED this location – and will definitely be back whenever we are in San Diego. They had a ring ceremony at the Women’s Club that was adorable. I loved all the details! Thanks to Mae from Mia Dolce for being our second photographer that day! We are SO happy for Janet & Scott and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!!

Studio 2 Week Old Newborn Portrait Photo Session ~ Newport Beach Photographer

Spencer’s mom called us to do a newborn session because our friends Amanda & Scott recommended us after doing THEIR newborn session.  They loved the blue floor we have – so we of course incorporated that into a few photos.  They also call Spencer their little chicken – so it’s more than perfect to put him in a chicken hat.:)  One of my favorites was the antique black and white photo.  Enjoy a quick peak….

Cute Newborn and Family Portrait Photo Studio Session ~ Newport Beach Photographer

We photographed this little guys’ big brother a couple years ago as a newborn and were so excited when his parents told us they were expecting!  His brother had a special hat made for his newborn session and I loved seeing Nate’s own hat.  They were both great during the session and we can’t wait to see Nate grow up this coming year!:)

Laguna Beach Engagement Photography ~ Newport Beach Wedding Photographers

This couple is awesome!   Who would guess that they are both stationed in the Air Force and living in Nebraska?! :)  She is a fighter pilot and he is a pilot’s navigator.  I can’t image how stressful that job must be!!  We don’t get a chance to photograph military weddings very often so we are super excited for this one! They will be getting married at the Turnip Rose, Celebrations.  Brian and I feel so lucky to live in a country that have people like C & D to protect us.  We appreciate the military SO much (our kids remember them in their prayers every night too!).  Can’t wait for October!!

Rustic Outdoors Portrait Photo Session ~ 6 Year Old Twins ~ Newport Beach Photographers

We had a blast photographing these twins at the park! We met them for the first time when we shot an engagement session for our photog friend Vanessa at their awesome ranch. Our mission was to get some fun shots for their birthday party invitations. These girls love to explore (and aren’t afraid of bugs!) Happy 6th Birthday A + D!!
